BVR supplied design and construction support to replace the existing 12kV overhead lines and poles that ran across the Housing area with an underground non-backbone electrical infrastructure (including ground mounted switches and transformers) to provide electrical power for all residences, for street lighting and as required to supply telephone and cable TV. Â Since Project completion all electrical systems now meet federal standards and system performance has greatly improved.
