BVR supplied design and construction support to replace the existing 12kV overhead lines and poles that ran across the Housing area. They were replaced with an underground non-backbone electrical infrastructure (including ground mounted switches and transformers) to provide power for all residences, street lighting and to supply telephone and cable TV. Since Project completion all electrical systems now meet federal standards and system performance has greatly improved.
