BVR assisted the City in reviewing all of its electric system utility operation, equipment and transmission lines. The City is one of the oldest municipal utilities in the State of California and required a modernization strategy that would enable it to make the required upgrades and repairs while keeping the system operational for all emergency and other City operations. The BVR team utilized a phased approach that prioritized non-emergency operations with essential services all while renovating the 100 year old substation and peripheral equipment.
